I began my career in the mortgage industry in 2003, quite by accident. After finishing culinary school, a colleague offered me a job as a Loan Officer. I initially intended to do it part-time while I searched for the perfect restaurant gig. However, I quickly found I loved the mortgage business and never looked back. Over the years, I've honed my skills and now focus on helping people achieve their homeownership goals, whether they’re first-time buyers or seasoned homeowners looking for refinancing options.

One of my personal goals is to be ranked as one of the top VA Loan Originators in Illinois, and I’m working hard to make that happen—though winning a regional BBQ competition is on my bucket list too. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all over the world, and it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey toward homeownership.

Before entering the mortgage industry, I served in the U.S. Air Force and the Illinois Air National Guard, which taught me the value of service to others—something that continues to shape my work today. I also graduated from culinary school, where I developed a love for regional American BBQ and Mexican cuisine. When I'm not helping clients, you can usually find me cooking up a storm.

I’m also proud to be the husband of a school teacher, and two of my three children are following in her footsteps. I’m holding out hope that my third will join the military to continue that tradition! At home, I’m spoiled by the joy brought to me by my adorable shihpoo, who keeps us all smiling.
