For Jim, the greatest compliment you could give him is to call him your “local lender,” or refer him to a friend. He wants to be “your loan guy”—the person you know in the mortgage business.
Jim started his career as a Mortgage Loan Officer in 1991, working for a large bank where he topped their sales charts. But something was missing. When he moved to Century Mortgage in 2008, it was so much smaller. But he said it was the best move of his career.
“Century Mortgage is big enough to get the job done but small enough to really be in touch with all of the parties involved in every transaction. The president of the company is just around the corner from my office and the underwriters and closing department are just down the hall, not half way around the world. It is a nurturing environment that allows me the opportunity to serve my clients,” Jim said.
With so many options available to buy mortgages, Jim prides himself on providing that extra level of service you can’t get from larger, impersonal institutions. He doesn’t just sit at his desk, sending out emails. He prefers dealing with his customers face-to-face, and working hand in hand with them through the loan process.
His mission is to finance all of Kentucky, one home at a time. Come see him at his offices in Century’s Louisville branch. He’ll make the dreams of the perfect home come true for you, too.
